Düren, 16.04.2025. Excellent results for Jagdfeld Real Estate in the retail sector: The Düren-based asset manager has now concluded or extended 16 new medium to long-term rental agreements for 8,633 m² at six locations in the first quarter. Of these, 13 retail partners decided to extend their leases, eight of them even ahead of schedule. Six retailers seized the opportunity and will now launch their latest store concept.
“In these persistently challenging times of consumer restraint and structural change, this result cannot be rated highly enough. The owners are delighted with practically fully let properties, the retailers with attractive locations with prospects and the customers with a diverse and modern range of bricks-and-mortar retail outlets,” summarizes Benedikt Jagdfeld, CEO and owner of Düren-based asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate.
The highlights:
- In the “Rathaus Center Pankow” in the Berlin district of the same name, “Haase Feine Kost”, a long-established Berlin delicatessen provider, which has so far only been represented in the west of the city with one exception, is settling on the ground floor for the long term in a space of approx. 87 m². Following the acquisition of “Lindner Esskultur” in summer 2023, it is clearer than ever that quality retailers can also be successful in the East Berlin districts if the centers are developed carefully. And “Heideschlachter Dehning” is extending ahead of schedule (approx. 156 m²).
