New success for Jagdfeld Real Estate: The retail experts from Düren took over the Berlin shopping center “Forum Steglitz” on January 1. For an institutional fund, Real I.S. entrusts “Jagdfeld Real Estate” with the center, property and letting management as well as the technical property management and building services of the property.
“Our expertise, innovative strength, pragmatic short lines of communication and the experience of our clients that we deliver in everyday life what we promise in the tender are our recipe for success,” says Benedikt Jagdfeld, head and owner of “Jagdfeld Real Estate”, delighted with the new mandate from Real I.S.
Jagdfeld Real Estate is thus once again expanding its presence in the capital and is now responsible, also as asset manager, for a total of five retail properties in Berlin with the three shopping centers “Rathaus Center Pankow“, “Forum Köpenick” and “LIO Lichterfelde” (no asset management) as well as the mixed-use “PLAZA Frankfurter Allee“.
The “Forum Steglitz” in Berlin
Opened in 1970, “Forum Steglitz” is one of the first shopping centers in Germany to be reopened at the end of August 2022 after a thorough revitalization. The new mixed-use property now covers more than 35,000 m², around one third of which is now office space, and has 578 parking spaces in two parking garages. Its high local supply character, including a premium fitness studio, rounds off the comprehensive offering of the very conveniently located center in Schloßstraße, one of the busiest shopping streets in Berlin.
The largest office tenants are HISolutions AG and the Free University of Berlin. The largest retail tenants are Edeka with its premium flagship store, Bauhaus with a city format and Lidl. The fitness factory GmbH offers a wide range of leisure activities above the rooftops of Berlin-Steglitz.
