A 97% occupancy rate means the property is practically fully leased
Düren/Emden, October 12, 2026. The leasing experts at Jagdfeld Real Estate now have three major new developments to announce at the “DollartCenter” (DOC) in Emden:
- For example, the fashion retailer “Takko Fashion” has signed a long-term lease at East Frisia’s largest shopping center. The space, centrally located near the east entrance, was handed over in early October, and the grand opening is scheduled for November.
- The gift and home decor retailer “Nanu-Nana” has signed a medium-term lease with the DOC and is expected to open its store in the DollartCenter before Christmas.
- And “Woolworth,” a discount retailer of everyday goods that signed a long-term lease with the DOC in 2023, will double the size of its store located in the West entrance area.
“With ‘Takko Fashion’ and ‘Nanu-Nana,’ we’ve been able to attract two well-known and popular retail companies that expand the DollartCenter’s mix of businesses and brand expertise in line with our strategy. And the fact that ‘Woolworth,’ after just under three years at the DOC, is seizing the opportunity for such a comprehensive expansion is a great endorsement of our work—it’s a perfect fit for both sides,” says Michael Bünnagel, Head of Center & Property Management at Jagdfeld Real Estate, expressing his delight at the positive developments in Emden.
This is also evident from the key occupancy rate metric, as these three new additions have brought the “DollartCenter” to approximately 97% occupancy, which is practically equivalent to full occupancy.
