91 points in the Falstaff Guide: Highest rating for spa and location, strong rating for service and location for the hotel on the Baltic Sea

The renowned Falstaff Hotel Guide 2025 officially lists the owner-managed hotel on the Baltic Sea among the top hotels in German-speaking countries. With an overall rating of 91 out of 100 points and five out of six stars, the hotel is one of the best-rated hotels in German-speaking countries – and particularly impressed with its newly designed wellness area, which was awarded the highest score. The same applies to the location – just 50 meters to the town center and a two-minute walk to the beach.
A total of over 300 hotels in Germany were assessed. In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the “Strandhotel Zingst” came sixth out of only 20 hotels that made it onto the list – an outstanding sign of the high quality in the areas of service, ambience, cuisine, location, rooms and spa facilities.

The Falstaff Hotel Guide will be published for the fifth time in 2025. With over 1,300 rated hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol as well as over 1.5 million website visits, 155,000 distributed print copies and 435,000 social media followers, Falstaff is one of Europe’s widest-reaching luxury media.
The latest award is part of a series of successes: As early as 2023, the “Strandhotel Zingst” was selected as a “TUI Quality Winner” among the 800 best accommodations in the international TUI program – out of a total of around 13,000 hotels worldwide. The hotel also received a recommendation rate of 91% on HolidayCheck and a rating of 5.4 out of 6 points, making it one of the most popular hotels among HolidayCheck guests.

The Strandhotel Zingst, which has been owner-managed since January 2022 and is managed by Jagdfeld Real Estate, is located on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. It was completely renovated in 2024. It has 122 rooms and suites as well as a 1400 m² spa and wellness area with indoor and outdoor pool, whirlpool, infrared cabin, saunas and fitness room, the Nautica restaurant and the Oyster Bar.
