On July 6, 2020, Jagdfeld Real Estate celebrated the opening of the first barrier-free local shopping center in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to the representatives of Jagdfeld Real Estate, the architectural firm, Netto Marken-Discount and the Schneider bakery, the mayor of the rural community of Titz and numerous members of the local council and the head of Rödingen were also present to celebrate the opening in a small circle.
Jagdfeld Real Estate has erected a modern building on the 5,314 m² site for the two tenants, the discounter “Netto” and Café Schneider, which complies with the latest building regulations of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. For example, the “barrier-free concept” not only includes a ramp and grooved stones, but the large window areas are also provided with various contrasts to make orientation easier. The café also has a very low serving area, and so-called impulse loops at the checkouts help the hearing-impaired to transmit information to their hearing aids.
