91 points in the Falstaff Guide: Highest rating for spa and location as well as strong rating for service and rooms for the multiple award-winning hotel on the Baltic Sea
Zingst, April 28, 2026 – Once again great recognition for the “Strandhotel Zingst”: The renowned Falstaff Hotel Guide 2026 officially lists the owner-managed hotel on the Baltic Sea among the top hotels in German-speaking countries again this year. With another top rating of 91 out of 100 points and five out of six stars, the hotel on the Darß is one of the best-rated hotels in German-speaking countries – and particularly impressed with its newly designed wellness area, which was awarded the highest score. The same applies to the location – it is only 50 meters to the town center and a two-minute walk to the beach.
A total of over 300 hotels in Germany were assessed. In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the “Strandhotel Zingst” took seventh place out of only 22 hotels that made it onto the list – an outstanding sign of the high quality in the areas of service, ambience, cuisine, location, rooms and spa facilities.

The Strandhotel Zingst, which has been owner-managed since January 2022 and is managed by Jagdfeld Real Estate, is located on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. It was completely renovated in 2024.
