Zingst, February 23, 2026: The “Strandhotel Zingst” receives the “Traveler Review Award 2026” from Booking.com. With an overall rating of 9.2 out of 10 points, the hotel on the Baltic Sea is one of the top-rated accommodations on the platform.
The “Strandhotel Zingst” achieved the highest score of over 9 (out of a maximum of 10) points in six out of seven categories, with a dream score of 9.9 for location. No wonder, as it is only a two-minute walk from the Baltic Sea and the pier and right next to the town center.
Service was rated similarly highly, especially friendliness (9.6). Facilities (9.4), cleanliness (9.5), comfort (9.5) and Wi-Fi (9.6) also received top marks. The gastronomic offer with regional fish, the daily late riser breakfast until 12 noon and the spacious wellness area with indoor and heated outdoor pool in the hotel garden are also regularly mentioned positively in the reviews.
Another highlight is the weekly coastal barbecue in the hotel garden from May under the direction of head chef Maik Gültzow, which is very popular beyond the region.

The award is based on over 372 million verified guest reviews submitted worldwide on Booking.com. In the fourteenth edition of the “Traveler Review Awards”, a total of 1.81 million partners in 226 countries and regions were recognized. The 2026 rating is based on the average of all guest reviews published on the website and in the app between December 1, 2022 and November 30, 2025. The final result was calculated on December 1, 2025.
Guests are also rewarding the comprehensive refurbishment of all rooms and public areas in 2024, as a result of which the “Strandhotel Zingst” has already received several awards – including inclusion in the ‘”Falstaff Guide” in 2025.
About the “Strandhotel Zingst”
The “Strandhotel Zingst”, which has been owner-managed since January 2022 and is managed by asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate, is located on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. In 2024, it underwent a comprehensive refurbishment costing almost €7 million. It has 122 rooms and suites as well as a 1400 m² spa and wellness area with indoor and outdoor pool, whirlpool, infrared cabin, saunas and fitness room, the Nautica restaurant and the Oyster Bar. The town center is 50 meters away and the beach is a two-minute walk away. The resort is located directly on the Zingster pier in the unspoiled national park, between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden.
