Berlin, Plaza Frankfurter Allee

The Plaza Frankfurter Allee mixed-use quarter is located directly on the Magistrale of the same name – the central shopping and access road in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district. As a modern center for high-quality services, the quarter combines a variety of uses under one roof: in addition to numerous educational institutions as well as engineering and planning offices, a wide range of shopping, service and catering facilities can be found here. Customers can find almost everything they need for everyday life here. And all this in a spacious, bright and light atmosphere.

Conversion and extension for the IU International University:

In 2020, the former hotel space in Plaza Frankfurter Allee was extensively converted into the new Berlin location of IU International University within a year. After a year of work, Jagdfeld Real Estate handed over the modernized space to the university.
Modern teaching and seminar rooms were created on around 5,600 m² and an additional 300 m² of storage space, which meet the highest requirements – including in the digital sector. Jagdfeld Real Estate invested around €8.5 million in the conversion. To the press release.

In June 2023, asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate extensively refurbished a further 4,100 m² of new space for tenant IU International University and let both new and long-term. To the press release.

In summer 2025, the space at IU International University was significantly expanded once again. Jagdfeld Real Estate handed over further renovated space to the university after several months of refurbishment by its own team. With around 11,300 m², the campus at the location has now doubled in size – a strong sign of sustainable growth and close cooperation with the tenants on site.

Conversion of underground parking garage:

After a construction period of around 20 months, Jagdfeld Real Estate 2023 was able to complete the fundamental refurbishment of the 700-space underground parking garage at “PLAZA Frankfurter Allee” on schedule. The two underground levels of the parking garage in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district have been extensively renovated in seven construction phases at a cost of more than €2.5 million in order not to disrupt the ongoing operation of the shopping, office, restaurant and university location. To the press release.
