Berlin delicatessen icon opens second branch in the ‘deep’ east of the city/ Three new leases and two extensions covering 606 m² in the largest centre in south-east Berlin
Düren/Berlin, 24 October 2025. Asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate has now secured Feinkost Lindner for the FORUM Köpenick shopping centre it manages. Feinkost Lindner will open its 40th branch in Berlin on the ground floor, covering 180 m², and has signed a long-term lease. Apart from the shop in Rathaus-Center Pankow, which is also managed by Jagdfeld Real Estate, this is only the second branch of the traditional West Berlin manufacturer in former East Berlin – apart from Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg.
‘Given the excellent reception the branch has received from the residents of Pankow, we are absolutely convinced that the residents of Köpenick will soon find “their” ‘Feinkost Lindner’ indispensable,’ says Marius Lorenz optimistically. ‘In the year of the 75th anniversary of the former “Butter Lindner”, this is a strong sign for the strategy of the owner-entrepreneur as well as our tenant mix in beautiful Köpenick with its high purchasing power,’ says the Head of Leasing at asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate.
This is complemented by the expansion of another delicatessen retailer: WAJOS Berlin Köpenick, a spice retailer and gourmet food manufacturer, is extending its presence on the ground floor to 103 m². Wajos delicatessen has been represented in FORUM Köpenick since 2015.
Due to its great success at FORUM Köpenick, MAGO, Berlin’s largest manufacturer of meat and sausage products, is now renting a second location covering 156 m² on the ground floor. MAGO has also been placing its trust in FORUM Köpenick, managed by Jagdfeld Real Estate, for many years (since 2011).
The same applies to Pandora. The Danish jewellery company is extending its lease for its 81 m² shop on the ground floor. Pandora has also been represented in FORUM Köpenick since 2015.
Another new addition is The 25 Hours Store GmbH, which rounds off the wide range of products on offer at FORUM Köpenick with its comprehensive selection of convenience store items. A long-term lease has been agreed for the 126 m² retail unit on the ground floor. In addition to the usual ´Späti´items and some household goods, as well as Lotto/Totto (including the state lottery), there is also a DHL and post office counter that can be accessed directly and conveniently from Bahnhofstraße.
The „FORUM Köpenick“
Asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate developed and built FORUM Köpenick in 1997 and has been managing it for an institutional investor ever since. Between 2021 and 2024, it underwent extensive modernisation costing around €8 million, making it the undisputed shopping magnet in the south-east of the capital. With over 100 shops covering more than 40,000 m², it is one of Berlin’s largest shopping centres, offering over 1,200 parking spaces. Anchor tenants include Rewe, H&M, C&A, MEDIMAX and Deichmann.
