Jagdfeld Real Estate signs five new leases totaling 981 m² in Berlin’s Forum Köpenick and Rathaus-Center Pankow

Düren/Berlin, July 23, 2025. Asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate has now agreed five new leases covering 981 m² in the Forum Köpenick and Rathaus-Center Pankow shopping centers it manages:

  • At Forum Köpenick, Rikscha Indian Food is enriching the gastronomic offerings in the food court with 61 m² of space and has signed a medium-term lease; the restaurant is expected to open in late summer.
  • A new medium-term lease has also been signed with Depot: after overcoming insolvency, the home accessories retailer is returning to Forum Köpenick, where it first moved in 2013, with an explicit commitment, and now welcomes its customers on 542 m² on the ground floor.
  • “Tchibo,” which has been a tenant since 2012, is extending its lease again for a medium-term period. The coffee and non-food retailer’s 160 m² space is located on the ground floor.
  • “Apollo Optik” is also committed to the location and is extending its lease for 90 m² ahead of schedule. The eyewear store, which has been there for eleven years, is located on the ground floor.
  • In the Rathaus-Center Pankow, Jagdfeld Real Estate has also been able to extend its contract with Apollo Optik ahead of schedule. The vision experts have been there for nine years, and the store is 128 square meters in size and located on the ground floor.

“Four early renewals with well-known partners, who together have remained loyal to our centers for around 50 years, are great proof that we have succeeded in keeping our shopping centers attractive over many years and in successfully renovating them time and again,” says Marius Lorenz, Head of Leasing at asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate.

Asset manager Jagdfeld Real Estate developed and built the Rathaus-Center Pankow in 1999 and has been managing it for an institutional investor ever since. Anchor tenants include Kaufland, C&A, MEDIMAX, TK Maxx, and Rossmann.

Between 2021 and 2024, it underwent extensive modernization at a cost of approximately €8 million, making it the undisputed shopping magnet in the southeast of the capital.
